Review
The Sultan's Labyrinth is an adventure game in which you must help Sallis escape the labyrinth in order to become sultan of Persia by marrying Sultan Bahar`s daughter. In order to escape, you must solve a number of puzzles and hidden-object games that will eventually get you out of the labyrinth.
The game comprises several hidden-object scenes where you must find the objects on the list which appear in the form of silhouettes or words. The silhouettes show you the shape of the object, but not the real size. As you find the objects on the list, more are added until you find the number required. Sometimes, you will also have to find the same object scattered throughout a scene. Three hints are available per scene, so use them wisely. Also, if you need help to solve a quest or puzzle, you can click on the question mark that appears in the right corner of the bottom of the scene. In order to escape from the scene, you need follow the clues, interact with the objects and combine them. Also, at the end of every scene you will be required to complete a mini-game, such as jigsaw puzzles, memory games, spot-the differences, among others.
The graphics are nice but not really detailed. Music and sound effects are OK, and the story is interesting enough. All in all, The Sultan's Labyrinth includes a great variety of challenges that make the game really enjoyable and fun. However, Advanced players may find it pretty easy. |
